Biography
Onofre Sanmartin is dermatologist at the “Instituto Valenciano de Oncologia”, where is responsible of the Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer Unit. He has worked there as a dermato-oncologist, dermatologic surgeon and dermatopathologist since 1994. The main areas of interest in medical research are cutaneous side effects of chemotherapy, non-melanoma skin cancer and dermatopathology in which he has been the principal investigator of several competitive translational studies. He has more than 190 published articles in journals of dermatology, pathology and oncology. Dr Onofre Sanmartin has practiced Mohs surgery for more than 25 years and has large experience in teaching this technique to dermatologic residents from Spain, Europe and America.
