Biography

My professional experience includes a complete Dermatology residency at the University Hospital of Zürich (Switzerland). During residency, I developed a strong interest in Dermatologic Surgery and specifically Mohs Micrographic Surgery. In Zürich I trained my surgical skills with Prof. J. Hafner and PD S. Läuchli, before I was fortunate to be accepted in an official ACGME-accredited Fellowship for Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology (MSDO) with A.-K. Somani (MD, PhD) at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis (USA). Thereafter, I returned to the Department of Dermatology at the University Hospital of Zürich (Switzerland).

In 2020 I accepted an offer as a Director of Dermatologic Surgery at the Department of Dermatology at the University Hospital of Basel (Switzerland) to build and develop a Mohs Micrographic Surgery unit.
