Biography:

Dr. Darcis studied medicine at KU Leuven and was trained as a dermatologist at University hospitals UZ Leuven, Belgium and in Zuyderland hospital, Heerlen, the Netherlands. After his dermatology training he did an observership in Mohs surgery with prof. A. Krunic in Chicago, United States of America. Hereafter he completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery at University hospitals UZ Leuven. He obtained his ESMS certificate in 2023 and is currently working as a dermatologist and dermatosurgeon in a private practice in Brussels and as a Mohs surgeon at university hospitals UZ Leuven, Belgium. More than 200 cases per year are performed there.
