Dr.med. Georg Barth is a dermatologist, who is focused on dermatosurgery, plastic dermatosurgery and Micrographic Surgery (slow Mohs-Micrographic Surgery). He studied at the Universities of Kiel, Santiago de Chile, Lexington Kentucky (USA) and Munich.
He was trained and specialized in different Hospitals (Klinik für Dermatologie und Allergologie Davos, Switzerland and Hautklinik, Klinikum Kassel). Since 2001 Dr. Barth is working as a partner at the Hautpraxis München-Pasing (Phone: 0049 (0)89 8888 480). He is a member of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venerology (EADV), former member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS), member of the Berufsverband der Deutschen Dermatologen (BVDD) and certified member of the European Society of Micrographic Surgery (ESMS-Mohs.eu) and the German Society for Dermatologic Surgery (DGDC).
Dr. Barth perfomes more than 400 Micrographic Surgery procedures per year, he is specialised in office-based Micrographic Surgery with a complication-poor modified method of Tuebingen Torte and invented a new surgical instrument for Micrographic Surgery (Barth GA, The Cockade technique – a closed wound variant of the 3D histological-guided surgery: JDDG:Journal der Deutschen Dermatologischen Gesellschaft 2013;11:1177 )
