Biography

After my residency in internal medicine, I completed a second residency in dermatology and venereology. During my residency, I had a focus in dermato-oncology in the team of Prof. R. Dummer, as well as in inflammatory dermatology in the team of Prof. A. Navarini. Since 2021, I have been a senior physician at the Department of Dermatology at the University Hospital Zurich, working in the dermatosurgery team of Prof. Jürg Hafner. I was trained in the technique of Mohs surgery by both PD Severin Läuchli and Prof. Jürg Hafner. I also undertook a short fellowship with Dr. Richard Motley of the Welsh Institute of Dermatology, University Hospital of Wales. He was one of the pioneers of Mohs surgery in Europe and a founding member of the ESMS.
