Biography
Graduate in Medicine and Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of the Basque Country (UPV-EHU) (2007). Specialist in Medical-surgical Dermatology and Venereology (2012, Donostia University Hospital). PhD from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EH) in 2015 (Doctoral thesis: Skin toxicity and tumor response markers of epidermal growth factor receptor inhibitors in metastatic colorectal cancer). Faculty specialist in Dermatological Service of the Donostia Osakidetza University Hospital Basque Health Service (2012-2016).
Currently specialist physician and dermatologic surgeon in the Medical-surgical Dermatology and Venereology area, at Dermatology department of the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital in Badalona (Barcelona), performing dermatological surgery, including micrographic Mohs surgery, frozen and slow Mohs variants. Collaborating Clinical Associate of the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Barcelona and coordinating multidisciplinary skin cancer committees that involveradiation oncologists, medical oncologists, geriatric oncologists and plastic surgeons since 2016.
