Biography

Dr. Åsa Ingvar is a consultant in dermatology and venreology at Skåne University Hospital in Lund, Sweden. She has been a specialist in dermatology and venereology since 2016 and has performed Mohs surgery (frozen section technique) since then. In 2009 Dr Ingvar obtained a PhD in medical sciences at Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. The focus of her research is early detection, treatment and prevention of skin cancer. She is affiliated with the Department of Clinical Sciences, Lund University, and is a member of European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology.
